Audio-Video Systems Features


Broadcast
• Two control rooms are provided with infrastructure for a future third suite. Broadcast origination can be from any one of 5 meeting rooms, with infrastructure for two future rooms.
• Pesa 96 x 96 video matrix used for routing and distribution of video signals.
• Broadcasts can be simulcast or recorded for future broadcast.
• TelePrompTer system in the press conference room.
• Ross Video Limited 216A production switches.

Speech Reinforcement
• QSC Rapid Rave equipment used to multiplex AES/EBU audio onto fiber from the room to the basement for processing and back to the room.
• 9 frames of Peavey Media Matrix used for signal processing.
• Pesa 64 x 64 digital audio matrix used for routing the audio.
• Panasonic D7 digital mixing consoles used for mixing the broadcast audio.

Remote Control
• Custom touch panels with speech reinforcement speakers and gooseneck microphones.
• Room configuration established by referring to the data base on the server.
• Cameras controlled from the broadcast suites by joy-sticks via the remote control system.
• Quorum call system which notifies meeting members via E-mail, voice mail, cell phone, MATV bulletin board, or pager, of the time and location of an upcoming meeting.
• Meeting members can call aides in any manner used by the Quorum call system.
• Request-to-speak queue is maintained by the remote control system.

MATV
• Reprocessing of 28 cable TV channels for distribution in the building.
• Local origination of 6 channels.
• Riser distribution signals via coax.
• Local distribution of signals over Cat 5 cable.

Dedicated Network
• Fiber and Cat 5 cables are run from the basement into each room.
• Individual networks are utilized for each system type: audio, video and remote control.
