Hayward City Hall

Ceitronics designed and built the audio video system for the Hayward City Hall Council Chambers and Meeting Room. The Council Chamber has a complete broadcast system utilizing three cameras, two ceiling mounted graphic cameras, 3 VCR's, slide to video converter, and rear screens. The two 120‰ diagonal rear screens provide the ability to freeze a graphic image on one while zooming in to the image with the other. Council members have the capability to annotate the zoomed image.

Dais monitors allow viewing either of the two rear screens or the image that is going to air. Three matrix switchers are utilized in order to provide the high degree of flexibility required by the system. A satellite dish provides access for distance learning and training. The distance learning, along with Chamber's broadcast and cable channels are available throughout the building on a CATV system.

A complete AMX remote control system provides control over all the equipment in both rooms. Functions include voting, request to speak, microphone activation, graphic camera controls, and source controls.
